Our Story

Once upon a crisp fall day,
In Washington DC,
Destiny set on its way,
Inside the Gallery.

Finding himself on the wall,
Of course he made her smile,
Curtsy, bow like at a ball,
With laughter all the while.

Coming up to a street fair,
With scrumptious things to munch,
Fried Oreos which were there,
Was what they had for lunch.

On the Mall they took a walk,
The conversation swelled,
Many things they did ad hoc,
With magic tricks they jelled.

Dinner had been coming fast,
In Chinatown they ate,
Two twin fortunes which were last,
It only could be fate.

Thus concluded their first date,
And many more henceforth,
Journey to a great love state,
From DC they went north.

Thirteen months right to the day,
From whence it had begun,
She was now his fiancée,
His love, his number one.

Comes the time to say 'I do',
As happy as they are,
Celebrate their love with you,
From nearby and afar.
